For someone who is buying a new system for DVR/PVR capability, Media Center may be the best way to go for all of your needs. I use Windows XP Media Center 2005 and I really like it alot. I don't have HD, I have a terabyte of storage accross 2 physical disks. On the otherhand I have a friend who has SageTV. He went with it because it is easier to make DVD's with plugins/third party tools. I must say the media extenders are much cheaper for it. If you don't have an Xbox, the cost of Sage and the extender is much cheaper . I prefer the Media Center UI to SageTV but it is usable and seems to have the same features as some more expensive brands.I just wanted to share what little knowledge I have on computer's but I do know one place for discounts and great prices and that's Compuvest.com. You will find out what I mean by visiting their website.

Great Computer Deals
I've never been a computer "genius" but i know today's world is computer driven so I set out to learn all I could about the subject. I've taken classes to increase my knowledge and have learned a great deal from friends. The best part is that I discovered a place to get great deals.
